Michael Crye

Cruise Lines International Association, USA

As Executive Vice President of Cruise Lines International Association, Michael Crye is responsible for the development and execution of regulatory policies and monitors domestic and international legislation on behalf of the cruise industry. He serves as the industry’s representative before U.S. legislators, government agencies, and international bodies.

Mr. Crye's Coast Guard career, where he rose to the rank of captain, included shipboard, legal and congressional assignments and he also served as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in Miami.

Crye earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the Inter- American University of San Juan, Puerto Rico, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law.
