Ecodriving is a term used to describe energy efficient use of vehicles, also benefitting road safety. Various smart and safe driving techniques help drivers to reach their destination swiftly and – most important – safely, while improving fuel efficiency, saving fuel, money and cutting CO2 emissions. The best way to learn those simple techniques is to attend an Ecodriving training and being coached by a qualified eco-driving coach. These “eco-trainings” focus on practical driving experiences on public roads. The ECOWILL project (ECOdriving – Widespread Implementation for Learner Drivers and Licensed Drivers) is happy to provide certified ECOWILL coaches offering training courses to ITF delegates.
To attend an Ecodriving training course and explore your personal saving potential, register at the ECOWILL stand in front of the accreditation desks of the International Transport Forum or at the FIA stand in the exhibition area inside the congress center, or send us an email. Courses will take max. 45 minutes of your time and are offered on the 2nd and 3rd of May throughout the day.
The ECOWILL training courses are offered to you courtesy of: The Intelligent Energy Europe programme of the European Union, IEE; the German Road Safety Council (Deutscher Verkehrssicherheitsrat), DVR and the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile, FIA.
