Henri Poupart-Lafarge has been Executive Vice-President of Alstom Group since 2010 and in 2011 was named President of Alstom Transport, a leading supplier of high high speed rail solutions. Poupart-Lafarge joined Alstom in 1998 and became the group’s Chief Financial Officer in 2004. Before his career at Alstom, he spent two years at the World Bank in Washington, D.C. and four years at the French Ministry of Economy and Finance, where he worked in the Treasury Department and as an advisor to the Minister. Poupart-Lafarge is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chausées in France as well as the Massachussetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the U.S.
